This is the Aaronsburg Story which was filmed in 1951 during a celebration of the contributing founder Aaron Levy who helped establish Aaronsburg.

It is a documentary showing the small town of Aaronsburg, population of about 400 during the anniversary celebration commemorating the work of Aaron Levy who donated much to make the town what it was. More than 30 thousand people attended the event.

This film was digitized in 2024 and restored to the condition now shown. It was digitized at 4K using SLog3 and color / contrast corrected with Davinci. The original audio track was derived from the optical sound track of the film. The sound track was separated from the visual and placed into a DAW where specialized AI assisted processing was utilized to isolate all noise and improve the narration clarity.

The music was separated from the voice and processed separately as well. Once both audio segments which were separated and processed individually, they were then recombined into a single stereo track and reintroduced into the digital film edit timeline. From that point we generated subtitles and assured accuracy and exported the restored film with the subtitle file separately. We then recombined all files into a single MP4 digital file where the subtitles could be selected or deselected.

The Final Master was generated into a Grass Valley HQX 4K Master. This version can be edited more than 30 plus times without any loss of quality. Once all files pertaining to the project were completed, a 1000 year archive master was created so that this work would never be lost due to data degradation.
